NKC Registered American Bulldogs
The National Kennel Club has been supporting American Bulldogs since 1964, making it one of the longest-standing registries for the breed.
Early History
John D. Johnson registered his dogs with the NKC in 1970 under the breed name "American Pit Bulldog" -- before the name was officially changed to American Bulldog through Tom Stodgill's ARF.
NKC Titles
The NKC offers a progressive title system for American Bulldogs:
- Champion
- Grand Champion
- Supreme Champion
