ABKC Registered American Bulldogs
The American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) was established in 2004. While primarily known for the American Bully, the ABKC also registers American Bulldogs.
AB and Bully History
The American Bulldog's history is intertwined with the development of the American Bully. Understanding one breed helps you understand the other, and the ABKC recognizes this shared heritage by accepting American Bulldog registrations.
ABKC Shows and Events
The ABKC hosts major events including Houston Bullnanza and the ABKC Nationals. American Bulldogs can compete alongside other bully breeds at these shows, giving owners and breeders opportunities to showcase their dogs on a national stage.
International Reach
The ABKC is accepted by the EBKC (European Bully Kennel Club) for pedigree conversion, making it easier for international breeders to move between registries.
Dual Registration with ABRA
ABRA dual registers ABKC dogs, ensuring that every American Bulldog -- regardless of which registry issued its papers -- has a place in the Archive.
